I let my dad use my truck while I was on vacation and someone hit him in my truck. Think I could get away with a H C bumper to fix this? I feel like maybe the dent is a little too high. D04BF7E4-9A76-46F9-87B6-B34827C33832.jpg

The dent is way to high for an HC to cover. If I was going for an HC anyway and going to chop my bedsides then the dent is chump change anyway. Just give it a little thumping from the inside and get the HC too.

As others have said, no HC won't cover all of it.

However I think you can beat that dent out from the inside and make it less noticeable, especially with a HC.

A tree hit my truck on a winter trail run when I was sliding down a hill, dented the same spot a decent bit but I was able to beat it out with a mallet.

Yea I was kinda thinking it was pretty high on the bed. Sucks that I can’t keep anything nice. Good news is the bumper also has damage so maybe I can get enough money for the bumper of my choosing

An HC Bumper + PDR after the cut should do well enough to cover it.

Probably will want to talk to the PDR tech before you cut it though.
