Hey guys, gonna be staying here a few nights this weekend and was looking to see if anyone new of any nice trails to go explore. Nothing crazy, I only have a completely stock trd sport. Don’t even care if it’s just a gravel trail or something. Just looking for nice views and some exploring. Thanks!

I lived up there in the late 90’s. Highway 36 south of fortuna is a nice drive. Be careful where you go off road up there. People are not receptive to strangers and more likely with being welcome with buck shot. If aren’t local don’t venture off into the hills

    So stock.
I just drove over Snow Camp out of Korbel to Hwy 299 two weekends ago. It was a nice drive, but primarily rutted paved roads and gravel fire roads. There’s probably some exploring you could do. There’s a lake out there that’s supposed to be nice. There’s a drive out to Lost Coast I want to do, but haven’t done it yet. There’s also an OHV area out on Somoa if you just want to just mess around.

Probably too late for this trip since it's already "this weekend", but here's a link to my thread on T4R.org with some fun mountain drives listed.

I especially like Hundred Acre Prairie Rd off of Bair Rd, north of 299 between Mckinleyville and WC. Holler if you need anything.
