Heya, first time posting in the Tundra section.

Passing off some info I personally found very interesting. Below is a link that prompted me to remember my last visit to my local dealer two days ago (was test driving a Rav4 and a 4Runner). A manager let slip that he's seen spec sheets on the new Tundra and it has a hybrid V6 option. That's also been hinted in a link inside the link I posted below.

Also, it's worth watching the interview video in the link within a link..

I would get a sex change before I would get a Tundra with the 3.5 car motor plus hybrid. A 5.7 with hybrid makes sense to get better mileage.

I have a 3rd gen which is why I said the above. Its ok around town. Can get annoying on hills and mountains. Does it have enough power? Yes.... Not enough low end torque. Runs ok but having to plant your foot on the firewall to get it to go and listening to the clatter gets annoying.

Hmm. Twin turbo 3.5 making 400hp with a hybrid supplement at low revs. Sounds a lot better than a NA 3.5 hybrid which would certainly make a tacoma better.
