Saw 2.96 yesterday and almost peed with excitement..too bad I didn't need gas.

Prices should be going lower and staying low for quite some time. Global demand is plummeting right now to the point OPEC is considering cutting production.

Well they got to keep gas above $3 threshold so cutting supply will help that. Since they export crude alone, they can't cut it too much or they'll hurt on profits. They learned that $4 is going to hurt demand.

Demand is still so low though that even a decrease in production won't really negatively effect us...or so I've been reading. I don't understand how it all works, so I'll just keep believing everything I read.

There's less energy in Ethanol. http://zfacts.com/p/436.html

You might see better mileage with non-ethanol gas which would probably make up the cost difference.

Cheapest I've seen here i $3.25 at Arco. I have a Shell Citi rebate card (5%). The cheapest Shell I've seen is $3.33 (which is $3.16 for me).

The Arco is on El Cajon Blvd & 33rd street just off the I-805 (East side of the freeway). The Shell station is on the corner of Balboa & Mt. Alifan.

Saw $3.59 today. That is almost a 30 cent drop in the last week. I want to fill up but then again I want to see if it goes down any more.
