So late one night my fiancé and I thought I should join the crew this summer and race. Then I got a solid summer job lined up, bummer.

Oh, they're going to do another season? Cool!

Man, too bad you couldn't do the next one. Don't they pay you for the time? Could that suffice for your summer job? lol

I'd imagine they are going to do another season, it seemed to do well up here unlike most Alaska shows... If I knew more info a month or two ago I would have signed up for it. Normally TV pays pretty well, not sure how the contracts were written though in this case.

Ah who knows then. Yeah Alaska does seem to be the network fad right now, and our state has some crazy tax incentives/discounts for filming here.

Ultimate Survival Alaska is one of my favorites. That is the only show I've seen with real near death moments for a reality show. Last season, the Eskimo guy almost fell to his death if not for his back up pulley.

Just downloaded season 1 from Usenet. The Super Jeep wasn't on 40's despite what the narrator said. Other BS information, like the LC's Swampers costing $3k, etc.

I wouldn't wheel with these guys for anything. 3 mins in I'd be reaching for a beer and a shot, and I don't drink.

Well I could have been on the cast I guess, a local forum posted that Alaska Offroad Warriors wanted some more people to be on at least one episode at a popular place up here. (the one with the sand dunes from season 1)

Honestly, I think I'll pass and keep a good summer job than hang out with these guys lol.

I'd watch another season of it if all the characters changed.
