    Reserected from the dead.
    I've never seen the VIN on the engine block.

    With that said, my police salvage vehicle inspector told me that there was secret numbers on the block. His inspection form told him there was a number and where it should be. It could never be found. The form was wrong.

    Let me know if you find it on yours.

    Welcome to TW! Not sure about the engine block, but I thought all vehicles had the VIN printed on the dash visable when looking through the front windshield near your steering wheel.
