You should probably buy a smaller pulley from the start. You'll eventually have one!

I went with the AFE Magnum Force 51-82342, it puts a lot of air through and doesn’t take up quite as much room as the newer Momentum.

How hot is it there during the heat-of-the-day?

Do you use a 40 weight oil during the summer months?

True momentum is a massive piece. Worthy but bulky.

Good. It will withstand the heat better, especially with the s/c added load and heat.

True. If he knows what can be it's best to start there. I would say 2.7 for break in.

I wish I had done a quick change one from the get-go. Somewhat annoying even with the right tools.

No I was converting for the people in 'Muricastan.

I stand corrected anyway. The record was 37 Celsius. 99 Farenheit. Cold city.

I think if you have a bad head gasket than you would see white smoke consistently under load.

Damn I have not experienced anything over 85 degrees yet.

Looks like you have to halfway uninstall it to get to the filter, which helped persuade my lazy butt to go with the Magnum Force

Currently it's 103. And I do not. 5w30. But maybe I should give that a try?

So just checking. It won’t hurt anything to drop coolant temperatures right? Hooked up my transmission cooler and now cruising down the highway my needle slowly drops. Maybe 15-20 degree difference. I imagine this will drop more after I hook up my engine oil cooler. Now I would assume too low of a temperature is when the thermostat doesn’t open? In my case I’ve got a 160.

A 15-20 degree swing with a transmission cooler connected is interesting. Not sure why the engine coolant temp would drop like that unless the radiator just likes having that much more air running through it. You're correct the minimum temperature should be maintained by the thermostat. I will say this with my electric fans, if I set the target temp too low where the fans run constantly, I will see 5-10 degrees WARMER engine temperature. I think its because the radiator fluid is excessively cooled, so it effects the back side of the thermostat. The thermostat probably "chatters" and it is some what encumbered. There needs to be a balance between thermostat targets and airflow across the radiator.

Where is the temperature sensor you are using located?
