Awesome, how does the 21st and 22nd work for July? I get back in town on the 13th and wouldn’t have any ETA of when I’d be able to get out to the trailhead to meet y’all.

I can probably do that weekend, unless anyone is free and wants to go sooner.

I've got a bunch of work to do at the house, so I had to bow out of going fishing with a friend in Cherokee, NC. I plan on using that to guilt my wife into not giving me crap when I go fish the Hooch for a couple hours Saturday morning.

We could be doing some floating/grilling out at Red Top Mountain Sunday morning/afternoon.

Other than that I'll be at Reformation Brewery in Canton if anybody wants to join up

You have to pay to camp here, not sure how close they are to the lake either. I've never done it not to mention I try not to pay for camping because that's stupid IMO

I need to get out this weekend. Anyone hike the Tallulah Gorge trail? Sounds relatively kid friendly and isn't too long of a drive. I'm thinking I might take the family up there to check it out.

    Since everyone loves pics:

It’s been a minute since I have, I’d be down to do it again. Unfortunately I’m booked for this weekend, heading to Allatoona to Red Top Mountain Sunday to float and BBQ, hoping to meet up with @BYJOSHCOOK depending on what his plans turn out to be.

    Maybe next weekend?

If we don't go this weekend, next could be an option. Though, we could look at other trails for the following weekend as well!

The rim trails are kid friendly. Going into the gorge is not terribly kid friendly, unless you have a kid carrying backpack and want a good workout.

We did the stairs to Amicalola Falls a few weekends ago and that wasn't terrible. I'm kind of using that as my gauge. I just have to remember that each weekend my wife is further along in the pregnancy. So carrying one of the kids in the heat of the day might not be the best idea. Thanks for the tip on the rim trails!

Alright guys, time to have a range day. Due to hay arrangements we only managed to get 350yrds this go around. We shoot a little bit of everything from plates, paper, clays, and reactionary. Planning on getting out this Saturday, the 22nd for the day. Located in Ranger off HWY 411. Shoot me a PM for exact location. 6DA421B2-7C24-4F00-B285-C20D136B41C7.jpg53309B8B-FDF9-4C11-ABFC-BEAD923159C7.jpg 1E466030-4181-4DF8-B53E-146B20507465.jpg

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I will be there. PM’d Ya! Thanks for hosting.
