Just got a '13 as a first truck at pretty much stock. Not very mechanically savvy at all but looking to put a lift and some after market wheels and tires on. I want at least a 4" lift on and hear Rough Country is a good bet. I'm looking at Fuel Vapor Matte Black 18x9 -12 wheels and Toyo Open Country RT 33X12.50R18LT tires. Any recommendations on brands and sizes of wheels/tires that won't rub or anything?

Don’t do rough country. Use Maxtrak lift spindles and Bilstein shocks.

Nice truck. I'd do allot of reading and research on lift heights before making a decision.
Rough Country is not favored by most Tacoma owners on here.

^yea, that. Welcome to TW! You'll probably get alot more from browsing the threads on TW where folks are showing off their lift/wheel/tire setup. I've found this to be very helpful in getting an idea of the direction I want to go with my own. I'll reiterate what the others said about researching the lift. 4" is on the more extreme end, and it can definitely be done, but there's also a good chance you'll achieve results similar to what you are looking for without having to put that much of a strain on every driveshaft angle. Good luck!
