My sliders from RCI arrived yesterday and I installed them this morning. I did the install alone and it wasn't too bad using two jack stands. The fit is perfect and all of the holes lined up perfectly. I went with the 5 degree option so they would also function as a step. Also had them install the top plate and powder coat them. Sharing because I haven't seen too many photos of the 5 degree sliders.

Hey porch, how did you install the front supports? I don't see any way to get behind the frame rail..

    Looks good!
I bought the unfinished, without top plate. They're great quality and fit great.

@gofast you have to put your arm in to frame rail, it's a bitch, and should be attempted by a woman or child.

IMO, RCI dropped the ball here. I have my sliders installed except the front - exact same specs as the OP. BAMF makes a setup that has the front two install nuts attached to a long bar of steel. They cost $20 for the pair and I am waiting on mine to arrive to finish my install.

Just to give ideas for people installing.
I used an extendable magnet. It held the nut and washer plate so I could get the bolt started. Worked well.

I did install the front plates. There is a plastic insert in the frame cavity that you can remove with one bolt. Once that's out of the way, I had no trouble sliding my arm back in there to get the nuts in. Note that I'm on the thin side so if you've got big, meaty arms you may need to get a skinny guy to help out.

Nice looking sliders, but I am surprised the dimples on the top plate go upward rather than downward.

The upward facing dimples give the slider a nice grip as a step. Works great.

I just installed my Rci sliders today but the bolt that screws into the bottom of the bracket onto the cross member just spins freely. It’s tightened all the way and the bolt is all the way through but when trying to tighten it, it will just be tight tight tight and if I go for one more, it will feel like it got loose and reset tension. Anyone else have this same problem?
