I used the black rtv sealant/gasket maker on mine. Will that hold or am I in danger?

RTV is not strong enough. An epoxy product is needed

It’s probably ok as there isn’t much weight or pressure on the adapter. But I would use something a little stronger like an epoxy.

I'll grab some on the way home from work today just to be sure it's in there and not going anywhere.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to this guy’s exceptional customer service. Pm’d Meso this weekend that one of the bulbs on my Stage 1 Tail Light Kit is not working and there it is... today I received the replacement bulb at my work. Thanks very much Stew, you really made a huge positive impact in the TW community!

Thank you @kjhadfield for the epoxy recommendation, worked like a charm! I'm a happy Stage 2 owner. Those Tritons are bright!!!!

Just a note. Make sure you let the epoxy dry with the lens Up. Some have gotten globs of epoxy dripping onto the lens.

When I did mine I let the epoxy set for a few minutes, to the point it wasn’t runny. I wanted to keeppressure on the adapters and make sure they didn’t push out/lift up

    Did you need any resisters?

No resistors. The turn signals and emergency flashers work like normal. @MESO did an amazing job with the kit!

SWEET! I have my kit but haven't gotten around to get them on yet. I know some people need them, some don't. I hope I don't need them. I've done it years ago when I went to LED brakes and turns and had issue with and without resisters. (blinker issues). Hopefully my truck will like this kit

    Speaking the truth buddy.
I've "tried" to take a break from mods for the truck...… I think one time I made it 2 1/2 weeks.

So for those who don't know (most of you on this thread do), I'll let you in on something. Stew (Meso) is a ridiculously stand up businessman and a hell of a guy. I had an issue with my Stage 2 kit and within minutes of me posting about it I had a PM from him offering suggestions. We tried a few different things and it was still acting a little wonky so without missing a breath, Stew had another harness shipped out to me no questions asked. We all know that his mods are top notch (functionally and form-wise) but the fact that his customer service matches (dare i say excels) his mods will keep me coming back for more. This dude deserves everyone's business...I know he'll always have mine.
