Here’s my new camping drawer I made to go under my Diamondback cover. For Father’s Day weekend my family and I went off roading to the Lost Coast of California and Usal Rd. Fun weekend

That drawer is awesome! Nice work. How much does it weigh? Also, cool camping spot!

Honestly I might have done my setup differently if I had known the issues of getting a shell. First off, prep your bed first. There are A LOT of spots for water to get in. Go out and buy 4 cans of black silicon, and remove everything you can. From the bed. Then, layer by layer, seal that shit up as you put it back together. Also get a tailgate weather stripping from Amazon and get the bed cubby kit from a guy on here. (sorry I don't have the link on my phone. Search for leaking truck cap or camper shell and you might get it that way.

Also there are like 1/2" x 1" holes in the top of the bed by the rear window that you'll want to put a good seal there too.

If I could do it again I might go with a real sturdy bed rack and a soft topper and an RTT.

Hey thanks. I haven’t weighed it, but guessing 100lbs. Much lighter than my previous 1/2” ply drawer I made. It does have 56” sliders and 30” sliders which aren’t light

You should do a write up on how you made it. That's one of the nicest drawer setups I've seen!

Nice setup. If you get the chance head out I-68 a bit further and checkout the Savage River State Forest, well worth the trip.

Thanks for the advice. A tube of silicon and I got pretty familiar this past weekend. (that sounded less weird in my head...) Hit the front corners of the bed rails, under the side rails, cubby caps are on, need to put the tailgate seal on still and plug the drain holes at the front of the bed. Planning to spray the truck down with my softopper on to see what I can seal better before the cap gets on. Had the softopper on for a year, had a RTT for a year, looking forward to the more secure topper.

Tested out my new tent setup at The Bike Farm in the Pisgah National Forest last weekend. My camping spot wasn't very scenic, but the rest of the area is pure zen. Waterfalls for days!

There was a different kind of scenery at the Oskar Blues Brewery...

Thanks, man! Yeah, it's the new "Low-pro" version -- picked it up during REI's annual 20%-off sale. I haven't had any quality control issues with it yet, and it's simple enough to install/setup. I only wish the "deluxe" mattress (seen here) wasn't such an expensive upgrade, and that Tepui would hurry up with the matching annex (supposedly available in August). I'm probably going to cut a custom piece of memory foam if I can find one large enough to start with (the 56" x 96" mattress dimensions are unique).

The ladder also packs separately, which is annoying, but that's not the end of the world.

With only one whole night in the tent, I can only really say that it has done its job so far. No real complaints.
