Qi Doesn't Work

Qi on truck sucks anyway. Compared to the Samsung one I use at home, i rather take the time to plug it in.

 

yeah but your home charger isn't in a moving vehicle

 

Phone doesn't move around in that cubby much even over rough parts

 

Likely your case is the issue. It does not work with my very thin Amazon case either on my S6. As mentioned above, it charges too slow AND really heats up my phone. So, I don't use it.

 

This ^. S10 here, never use cases still cooks it so it's a storage cubby

 

No problem on the roads I travel, but some of you, and you know who you are, might have trouble on the roads you travel

 

My Samsung S8 works fine with an Otterbox Defender. No issues.

 

Yeah, positioning of the phone is important. Mine charges through the Apple leather case just fine. I really only tried it a couple times to see if it worked. I don’t like wireless charging in general. It heats up the phone and charging with the cable is faster.

I have to slide my phone all the way to the front so its flush with the edge of the cup holder and then I have no issues.

 

my iphone 8 plus doesnt work with an otterbox defender, but in a pelican marine it works no problem
