I want to add a 2nd a battery to my '06 Tacoma for aux battery needs (AC inverter, camera battery charging station, camp lighting, Engel 46qt Fridge, etc)
I want to get a DC to DC charger controller that will also input solar w/ MPPT for a LiFePO4 battery setup. (can be a AGM but prefer the LiFePO4 chemistry)
I'm looking for threads to research and links to gear sites. Looking for placement and bracket ideas.
So, my basic understanding is that this type of setup is independent of the main battery setup (except for the DC to DC charging) and wanted to see what is possible.
I have several 1000 watt rms Pure Sine Wave Inverters just sitting around so I'd use those. I have some left over parts from another build I did some years ago that could go towards this setup.

Here is a link to a Solar Generator I built from scratch posted on ARFCOM a few years ago.

    Any help is appreciated.
