Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
Locate connectors IF & M6, disconnect then de-pin. Secure to each other; 1F_27 with M6_26.
On connector C11_8 or at Junction Connector J6_7 cut and terminate each end on pins 30 & 87 of a relay. 86 pin on relay needs fused IGN/ACC source. 85 pin on relay to chassis ground.
Fogs anytime IGN/ACC available. The OEM fog circuit has an always hot 15 amp fuse. The ground to the control relay is intervened after the steering stalk switch.

    Edit:
Adding a DPDT switch and diode.
    upload_2021-1-8_9-18-14.jpg
Added DPDT for state inspection compliance. DPDT On-OFF-On, One way is OEM. Center OFF. If DPDT left ON (not OEM side), battery is depleted. All wires are "signal", 20~22 awg.

Remove the relay panel and cut and insulate wire on pin 1 of Fog relay on harness side. Tap into the IGN source on IG2-MAIN relay pin#1 and mate (strip, solder and heat shrink...) with cut wire on fog relay.
DPDT (mini) to maintain inspection specs then back to ON after vehicle ON.
One side of switch provides OEM "feature" the other ON...
Diodes prevent feedback to circuit (precaution)
ON/OFf switch for those without pre-wired Fogs.

Just need to add a sealed 090/2.3II terminals to run from new connector to relay pin 1
For those who have swapped to 2020 headlights, re-purpose H10 (Parking) like @Lt. Dangle :bikewheelie:

OEM - fogs have a 15 amp fuse (hot) the branches to pins 30 & 86.
Pin 87 goes to a connector (EN1) that's behind and in the middle of the bumper which branches to the left & right fog lamps.
Pin 85 runs to connector 1F pin 27 (In the cab on the Body ECU, facing the driver, not the firewall side, exits via connector M6_pin 26 to the headlight stalk via connector C11 pin 9 (BFG) then to ground at pin 8 of C11 to ground.
    Mod:
Cut light brown wire from fog relay in 85 to 1F_27. Strip nad crimp a female terminal on each side.
Place one side in one center of the Double Pole Double Throw (DPDT) switch. The other side to (either) end of the selected center. This allows for OEM function on one side and Modded on the other.
On the other side of the switch, the blue wire can be cut, stripped and crimped or use a repair wire. This blue wire needs to connect to the switch and also to the diode. The 3 way diode prevents feedback to each mated circuit. Blue and Brown wires are joined before the diodes. Exit of the diodes go to one side the switch, See drawing.

LOL!!! You obviously know what you’re doing as evident by your posts, but I want to make sure this isn’t just theory as it requires cutting apart factory wiring
