If you ask a lady I work with, it makes vegans beneath her, because not only does she only eat plants, but she only eats plants she grows herself.
She does carry a leather purse, wear makeup, and drive a car with leather seats tho, so I don’t know that she even really knows what the fuck she is

I feel like i accidentally ended up in a Ford forum after reading these posts.

 

Wants a vegan truck. What a concept. WhyTF didn't you just get a Prius? The audacity of posting this thread IN THIS FORUM is like me showing up at a vegan rally in my ostrich-skinned cowboy boots. Quite frankly, I read it as an overt, in-your-face confrontational post by a militant vegan activist confronting a likely community of stereotypical meat-eating good 'ol boys. I can only imagine the scorn and abuse their community would visit upon an equivalent post on their forums by someone simply stating that they unapologetically eat meat:

"I'm interested in buying a Prius, but noticed that there seems to be some vegan, plant based parts. So my first question is what is vegan on the Prius. I noticed on some the steering wheel appears to be lettuce-based, also the dust cover or whatever that is around the automatic transmission shifter, and the parking break. Anything else vegan that come more or less standard? I know some have vegan seats but those are easy to avoid. These parts I mentioned seem to come, more or less, correct me if I'm wrong, standard. So my 2nd question is if there are aftermarket meat parts or meat things that can be used to remove or change the vegan parts?"

 

At first, I was sad I missed this thread. Then I read it and am no longer sad I missed this thread. Im an asshole, but some of the people on this forum make me look down right hospitable.

Vegans are funny. We get this all the time in the hospital. Especially when they are vegan and anti vaccine... Vaccines and meat are bad... While they sip on a starbucks latte with fake non dairy products with chemicals, preservatives and other BS in it.

You won't eat a natural source of protein. That's clean, ethically sourced etc. But you back lab created bullshit that probably has more additives and chemicals in it than the gas and oil you put in your car....

Also, BTW plastic, gas, oil... It all comes from petroleum.... Which is decayed organic matter and not vegan.... Put down the phone your using to post these messages, give you the vehicle's your drive, even a Tesla has leather, faux leather and plastics....



But to answer your question, I have a fully loaded TRD Off Road... It's fake leather.
