    None yet, but I'm hoping I can get some advice. It will be my daily driver, but also want it to be a capable over lander. Need help on which steps to do first, and how to do it in order that makes the most sense.
    @bnv:
    I like your style.
    I can't say with scientific evidence that more frequent oil changes need to be done considering modern technology and synthetic oil and all,
    BUT, I'm with you on the oil changes.
    I don't have $$ to burn, but maintaining my rig is high on my list of things to spend money on.
    Lets face it, most folks on this forum are spending crazy money on all kinds of things.
    Oil changes are small $ in comparison.
    I'll do it around 1K and teach my son how to do it. Two birds ya know.
    Last thing I want is to have engine trouble out in BFE because I was too cheap to change the oil.
    Besides, I don't believe there is no excessive wear and tear in the first 5K miles.
    So, I'll live in ignorant world being happy with my frequent oil changes. Lol.
    Thanks for the feedback.

    I personally would change it at or before 5k for the first time. Break in period.
    After that I’d do the regular 10k.
    But than again I’m not an engineer and I don’t know much.

    Yes I did but I am from the old school change your oil every 3000 miles. I will however except the 5000 mile change on the next one.

    Welcome to TW! Changing your oil "early" will never hurt your engine.
