If the chevy was quite as tall it would be sick and functional. Its just sick looking right now. If somebody tried to put it through its paces i think they would end up on their side really quick

it is the same one, and they were working on it for a while because a) it wasnt top priority and b) they wanted to knock it down so they can sell it as a kit

Hey PJ, you still on dry land dude ?? :D

That Ford Raptor is supposed to be the real deal. I haven't rode in one yet but from what I've heard 2nd gen. Tacomas got a reason to be nervous if it came down to a performance/Offroad shoot out !!:eek: ;):D

& it makes sense cause say what you want about Fords, but with the exception of some bad years for U.S. auto makers (mostly thru the '80's)

    Ford always had a pretty solid 4x/multi purpose truck. I had a '73 F-250
w/6" of lift (thru susp.) running 38.5" x 14.50" x16.5" Gumbo's & it was almost as unstoppable as my '72 Power Wagon (nuttin' stopped that fugger !! )

Doug whats crackin man,, yeah im back on land for a couple months....

The Raptor is legit...and so is the price tag...40k plus. Not to many dealers are letting it go below 40k. He hasnt hit it hard off road yet. ( he has a rzr4 for that) but weve shot across ocotillo in it, and it handles good.

Im waiting to see what the finally price will be for the kit for my ram. and how it might affect the towing capacity ( theres a company coming out with a sweet lt kit for it....)
