anybody got a dash cam they like? Nashvilles been getting weirder.

 

Street guardian SG9665GC. They also have a new version where you can piggyback a small rear facing camera. That one is on my list, but the S9665GC has been amazing. Exceptional nighttime footage.

Works well so far. Especially for the price.

Nashville has always been awful for driving, but it's definitely getting worse. DashCam is 100% necessary here now.

 

Or that weird dude from Illinois that dropped a pile of OEM ones in the campsite at AOP and barely any one took them....

I like hitting the little emergency button (which "locks" a clip in and prevents it from being overwritten), I'm planning on making a montage of idiot drivers with all the clips. I have the habit of calling people fucking retards almost every time though, not exactly kosher for YouTube LOL.

The one you linked looks like a knockoff of the street guardian and the Sony camera is very good. I just like SG for the customer support, they also have a free viewer/editor application but I have been using RegistratorViewer for that since I got mine several years ago. SG didn't have their own app at the time.

 

Give me a little more credit that that. I have three good oem axles with torn boots. Maybe “reboot” is a better term than “rebuild”

use the SG for your truck, and the other street guardian they sell with the rear camera for the 4runner. I would have gotten an epic multi-flip rollover of a 4runner of your generation when some dumbass overcorrected on the interstate and clipped their rear quarter panel at 65mph. Instead all I can see if the faint cutoff of their headlights rotating.

This is one version, you can also get a PRO+ and the rear camera as a piece together kit. It just depends on if you like the USB cord coming out of the camera vertically or horizontally.

yeah! okay so if that's the case, put that one in your 4runner and add the rear camera. Then just get a normal SG9665GC for the truck.
