Agreed, EAF also leaves me with a 200-mile range. Even in stock form, I was never able to reach 300 miles before the gas light goes on.

    Too few to list.
In completely stock form, my 2009 DC 4x4 hits 400 miles all freeway and that was the 6 speed manual so my RPM's were a little higher at 70 mph than an automatic.

Now my 15 DC 4x4 auto with a bit bigger tires, lift and sliders still get on average 300 miles before the light comes on. I average 18-18.5 mpg mixed.

I agree, the reserve is about 3.5 to 4 gallons and probably varies a bit among individual trucks. I started tracking mileage when the fuel light came on... went about 80 miles (4 cylinder) and the needle went below the E mark, still running fine. Figured that's pushing it plenty far enough, took a bit over 20 gallons to fill.

I routinely go 400 miles between fill ups, esp. if I have done a significant amount of freeway driving. 2007 4 cyl 5 speed manual transmission. I don't think I've ever had to put more than 18 gallons in to fill 'er up.

You could fill it when the light comes on and do the math.

Your tank holds 21 gallons. How much did it take to fill it up after the light came on? Every truck is going to be different and how far you can go and how much gas it takes after the light comes on depends on driving conditions.

I've had my truck for 12 years and never seen the low fuel light. Too many bad things can happen letting fuel get that low. I've been stuck in traffic for over 4 hours with the engine running to keep the AC going in 105 degree temps due to a 5 car crash that killed 4 people just a 1/2 mile ahead of me before. Lots of others ran out of gas that day, or had to turn off the engine and just suffer.

Someone must be siphoning my gas. When it had stock tires 265 65 17s, I only got about 320m per tank and about 18 gallons to fill it. I've gone 50m with the light on before.

Yeah... I've NEVER got anywhere close to 400 miles. Never, ever.

OP - my low fuel warning light comes on about where your does. When it does, I start thinking about finding a gas station.

In my mind, if i get to the point where the light comes on, and i make sure that that is a rarity, i feel like i have 30 miles i can drive without sucking up crud from the bottom of the tank and needlessly gambling with my fuel pump, and/or being the schmuck walking on the side of the road with a gas can 100 yards away from my truck.
