So I'm having exhaust out on my truck tomorrow. True duals and resonator delete with Super 10 dual in dual out flowmaster muffler. My question is how did you guys run it with the spare tire. I want to come straight out the back and do dual tips on each side. Like vette tips? My other question is I have obx long tube headers but not installed. If I install them will it hurt my reliability? Also will it burn up the alternator? I was told headers burn up alternater. Looking for advice from people that has run true duals and headers.

I've never heard of headers burning up the alternator, either physically or electrically. There shouldn't be much difference between stock piping and what you're going to run. The alternator sits up front and headers are piped out the back so if this is true, beats me. As far as clearances from your tire, there's a little space between the spare and the axle and you can squeeze a little extra room by tenderizing the centering brackets on your spare to nudge it more towards the rear with a 5 lb mallet. You'll need to install a heat shield on your pipes near your tire and 3rd member so you don't burn your spare. It can be done with a little creativity, just take it to a reputable shop.

Okay good to here about the headers. Also the guy I'm taking it to has been doing it 50+ years. So he know what he's doing. I wanted full stainless but he recommended aluminum.

I didn't know OBX made headers for our truck. Just looked them up. You need to return these if you can and get some URD headers.

No the obx I bought used. There the long tubes. I paid dirt cheap for them. Might not put any on now because it already sounds so good. Only thing I don't like in the lower gears it makes a loud raspy sound when I get on it might go away but idk yet. Sounds killer though if you like loud exhaust. Also deleted the resonaters..20190619_135932.jpg20190619_140006.jpg
