    Ha! Great job!

I just saw a car fall off a jack and onto a guy in a Walmart parking lot, he didnt make it.

I think that was my deciding factor.

Putting on my 3 leaf AAL for the rear suspension yesterday the truck came off the jack 3 times. Twice it was just the rear axle. I was doing one side at a time so the drum slammed into the ground and shot the floor jack out. Once the truck actually came backwards off the jack. Luckily one side still had a wheel on or else I would not have been able to recover the truck.

I’m not sure where the tool is now. It’s been passed around for a couple years now.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Got the dreaded vibration post lift. Just ordered the bushing/tool/seal. Anything else I need to speed the job along? Specific press tool/socket?

Jack stands are like $40 a pair at harbour freight, blocks of wood to chock the tires... free, if you want to go really cheap... cynder blocks are like $2 at home depot, jack the truck up and stick them under the crossmember and frame.

Cost of truck falling on you.... well whats your life worth man?

And why did you even have it in the air in the first place to do AAL?

Put e-brake on, chock front tires, unbolt shocks, put a jack on your draw-tie, put clamps on springs, loosin everything up, jack it up, put AAL in, put new pin in, lower the jack, the pack falls into place, tighten everything up. Remove clamps. Eezy peezy.

    Both sides, 1 hour max.
