Nearing completion of the engine installation. I'm unsure about the position of the cable with the white heat shield looking material on the driver's side. It must have something to do with the automatic transmission.

Can I get some expert opinions on the cable routing before I go forward with hooking up the fuel line and buttoning up this engine job? I don't know if the cables were correctly routed when I bought this one.

The cable with the white outer covering looks to be too close to the crossover pipe.

you have the transmission cable routed wrong. it should follow up the hook on the plenum and the arm you have it attached to now is for the throttle cable. if it stops raining i'll grab a pic of my 02

So it goes straight up from the bottom and inside the hook brackets?

That's a good paint job on the engine. I would paint (or clean?) the standoff in your last image to make it perfect.

It's hard to tell from your photos, but did somebody remove the emissions stuff from the driver-side inner fender??

Good suggestion for the cable bracket. It's more noticeable on camera. No emissions removal to my knowledge.
