Agreed, I bought mine from Montreal last year and it was mint everywhere. Even the frame looked really good upon my initial inspection.

When I got home, I registered on the Toyota Recall website and a week later I received a letter in the mail to have my frame inspected. I was approved and got my new frame.

Looks like a sweet deal. I shopped around for a 2011 ACLB. I ended up about a year ago finding one with no rust (in Delaware) with 90k miles for almost $5k more than what you have this listed at. I'm a wee bit jealous of the price you found. Hopefully the truck is in good condition.

@kyle3285 this guys experience speaks to 'how' the frame should be inspected.

A borescope is a good idea. You can get a camera extention for a reasonable price that attaches to your phone. Frames rust inside out, so you really want to look inside.

The round end of a ball peen to whack the frame in the typical initial rust through spots is a good thing to do. If the frame is good, you won't even leave a ding. If it's bad in that area, you'll know when it breaks through.

Absolutely worth the effort. Some folks have thought they were buying a good truck, found the problem(s) a few weeks later, and then found out their time had elapsed for the replacement. So they have just a steaming pile of parts left. Don't be that guy!

    Good luck.
