From what I understand the leather seats with premium packages is not real leather correct? Do they still need to be treated as leather and be washed/conditioned a couple times a year so they don't fall apart?

    Thanks in advance!

It's vinyl. And no, they don't need to be regularly treated like leather. Put about five drops of liquid dish soap in a gallon of warm water and use it to wipe down the seats. The lanolin in the soap will keep the vinyl "conditioned" and the surfactants will help remove grime.

This is a tip I received from an old guy that's been in the upholstery business for 60 years. He said periodic wipe downs like this will make the vinyl last decades.

I've gone with it for 6 years and seems to be working well so far.

Yes they still need to be conditioned regularly.

I have Classios and they are PVC material. I still condition 3 times per year.

I would not use dish soap on my seats. That stuff dehydrates not moisturizes.

Virtually no seats in the auto industry are 100% true leather. The only vehicles I know that have all leather seats retail over six figures. Even Fords King Ranches and Platinums only have partial panels of real leather.

Both materials are treated the same in terms of cleaning and products.
