When I got back from the store, the heat had gone from freaking hot to despot government oppressive! Thought about cleaning the truck exterior, but that is going to be an after Happy Hour project tomorrow eve! My weather station has its version of the "Heat Index" at 127*!
Bought some fajitas to grill - f'that - couple left over ribs, polish sausage, and beans inside. And the AC isn't cutting again by late afternoon.

Hey - forgot to ask - you just fastened that to the top cover of the fuse box - like it looks?

 

Some guys like it, some do well, some don't. Hopefully, you're the first two, get a crap ton of awesome NCOERs, make the list back to back and retire a king in beautiful Texas.

 

I used 3M emblem adhesive on the circuit breaker and fuse block. The tension from the 4 gauge cables on the circuit breaker caused it to break lose from the lid and won't let it be perfectly straight. I used a pair of automotive black 5/8 coarse thread Phillips screws to hold it down without penetrating into the stock fuse block. The only thing that bothers me is that i need to disconnect the circuit breaker from the battery in order to check the under hood fuses during diagnosis and the circuit breaker is slightly crooked.

Otherwise I love it.

 

Yeah man, that's the goal. I'll have to go to Goodfellow AFB after I get done with the USAREC time because I will be forced to reclass since my MOS is being deleted this next fiscal year. Once I do that, trying to land a tactical assignment so I can do a few deployments to help me be more competitive for SFC. After its all said and done I'm wanting to come back to this area and buy some land, get a job back with the Agency, and retire again haha.

5 days? Dang, might wind up selling it before I hear back from my buddy to see if he can talk to the CSM for San Antonio Recruiting Command into pulling me from my current assignment.
