See I dont have all that fancy shit cuz it's cheaper to DIY & that's why o chose base model knowing it was gonna be mod it anyways

I haven't started my project just yet but probably gonna go w/ a power tray & custom build it the way I want. Gonna put a 2nd fuse panel in the back for Accessories as well.
Gotta try that. Assuming it holds ok?

I have chased a slight front end clunk the entire time Ive owned my taco. Also figured nearly 200k miles was a good time to replace everything. Just thought the clunk would magically go away. Within the last month I replaced the shocks, springs, upper control arms, lower ball joints and bushings, tie rods.

Tonight replaced the front sway bar bushings. Holy mother of facepalm it was that. The 15 minute $15 part switcheroo this whole time.

Hey mate. I’m running Toyo MT’s in 285/70/17.
I have an OME BP-51 full suspension kit which is a 3” lift.

What did the clunk sound like? I have a clunk noise show up and in the last month has gotten louder. The stealership couldn't find it. Somewhere in the front when it does it but can't really pin point it out. Really only does when turning real sharp real fast at slower speed sand when I'm braking and taking off. Just one clunk every time.

I'm chasing a clunk as well... brand new SPC UCA joints, brand new lower ball joints, tie rod end links, ditched the sway bar, tightened my body mounts, tightened my shock bolts and mounts. My next step is the check out the CV's and perhaps replace them with Napa gold axles. Lifetime warranty so why not. I'm lifted 6" with an additional 2" squeezed out with taller coils. So sitting at around 8" of lift. CV's pointed at the ground lol.

Haha. Whatever works. Sure they will warranty them with an 8 m inch lift? My cv's are only about 9 months old so it shouldn't be them on my truck. I'm running just a 3 inch lift

Meh, we'll see. If not I'll lower the suspension back to 6. How's your needle bearings?

Very nice on both things @MattCowsmasher ... Just don’t let @ChadsPride see that engine bay dirty like that or you will be encouraged to clean it up. Ask me how I know:anonymous:

I also have a base model. I'm adding the converter (ordered the harness yesterday). I also installed navigation and XM radio with AUX/USB port. Going to be adding fog lamps also. That's the reason I bought so much wire.
