Well, you overcame one of my objections. The next one is that I have no reason to upgrade and on top of that, your stopping power is limited to your tires traction capabilities. Lol.

You know it would not be apples to oranges because we would have to be built the same. Armor, tires brake pads, all of it.

 

I have all the parts to do the 4Runner caliper upgrade sitting in my garage... just need the time to put them on.

Yup I’ve got those on the stock TRD OR 16” rims the truck came with. No spacers or other frills. It didn’t start until after a few months. Makes me think dirt/rocks get in there and start scratching. I’ve got quite a bit of weight with armor and running Cooper st Maxx 255/85 16. It stops really hard, even overloaded with camping gear. I’ve never felt brake fade with this set up.

Forget a BBK guys. Let's talk about blower upgrades, who would be interested in going in on a GB and who would be the unfortunate soul willing to loan out their supercharger crank pulley to a machine shop so we can get a lightweight billet supercharger crank pulley for the name of science?!

I would jump in and assemble a GB SO fast if we can do this!

I have a spare crank pulley....

 

I would love to swap to rear discs and the sequoia master cylinder, but that’s about $3k cad on parts alone lol, and I’m not even sure the gains would be that noticeable. I actually really like my EBC yellow pads, they easily lock up the front brakes if I turn off the ABS.

 

Not for the SC drive right?
