Best motor oil choice

    Not really much difference in any of them performance wise. I get the same drive ability and fuel mileage with all of them. UOAs really only tell about the serviceability of an oil or if it needs condemned, engines with great looking oil analysis have cratered unexpectedly. I hold firm with the principle that There is additional wear protection for the bearings with a higher HTHS viscosity.
    I would recommend any 0w20,5w20,5w30 or 10w30 ILSAC GF 5 synthetic oil for these engines. Going to higher HTHS versions in high temperatures, high speed driving or towing. But for most everyone using the factory recommended 0w20 will be perfectly fine with standard North American driving.
    I prefer to run the severe service interval and look for good deals.
