Could you explain how the other plugs fired without a connecting wire? 3 coil packs yes 3 wires no. This is how that works the proper plugs fires as it should the other on the exhaust stroke they both fire at the same time next cycle it's reversed.

I've been using Denso plugs for the whole lifetime of my truck, and I believe they are the ones (NGK as well) that Toyota recommends in their manual.

Part # (K16R-U11 // 3120). They are very reasonably priced and have a "U-Groove" patented technology aspect to them.

The coil pack sits right over one bank on the V6. The 3 wires connect the coil pack to the other side

You need to put in your VIN and also look for parts for your specific engine. You can also check the oem parts guide that @mechanicjon put together. Found the bolts I needed for my control arms on there. Shit needs to be stickied brah.

I have an 01 with 5vz engine. Have had problems with NGK plugs switched to DENSO plugs, no more problems.
