Talk to @Dave41079 about Monstaliner. Stuff works pretty well, and goes on pretty easy from what I've heard.

Just ordered monstaliner for the trailer, I'll let you know how it goes. If I've used Herculiner in the past, and it's good but becomes chalky and crumbly after some time in the sun.

Herculiner is at auto zone. Get the can and roll out on with a couple of good coats, use a cheap brush to get into tighter spaces then roll for texture. If you let it dry for about 15 minutes, then roll over it you get more texture.

x2 on Raptor liner. Stuff works great, uses a gun to apply, adjusting the nozzle changes texture. Did my whole inside m416 trailer tub with that stuff. Worked great and not horribly expensive.

I liked it too, but I also like your gross face. It's like you drank too much and your neck threw up.

I thought a crawlbox was supposed to reduce CV axle consumption ? Haha

My b, didn't take the time to look back in the thread.

I've heard of not removing the inner but personally never had luck. Can you share a quick synopsis?

No worries. Was just easier to quote it than write it. Haha.

For sure. You just cut the clamp that holds the inner boot on the cup rather than pulling the cv out of the diff. This prevents you from losing any gear oil. It's also hell trying to remove the cv from the diff without dropping my skids, so that's a big time saver too. You can see in Brent's pic how the inner part of the cv is missing in the pic. That's because it's still in the diff.

Then, you do the same thing to your new cv, pack some grease in the cup that's in your diff, and slide the 3/4 of the new cv in. Run a new hose clamp around it and tighten it up.

We had the truck rolling in probably 20-30 min with this method. I can't do it that fast in a garage. haha. Levi for the win!

That's awesome. I was under the impression you would have had to break the inner cups but your method sounds like a win-win.

Looks like a nice day on the trails, can't wait to see how slow your truck is now

Yea man, it’s definitely the way to go on the trail. Just gotta add some clamps and grease to the oh-shit-kit.

    It’s... slooooooow.
