    Thanks gents.

    Incorrect! I wouldn’t.

Here’s where I got to tonight. Both side frame rails welded on, plates on the outside of each.

Next is to plate the inside of the joint between old and new, then I would like to get a bumper set back onto the front or at least join the two front tube with a strong tube at the front so I can let the engine weight down on it again and not worry about it flexing.

Got my gears, and tires obviously. Still waiting on a bunch of goodies. But I can keep fabricating for now. Lots to do up front still to prepare for the axle.

I knew this was going to be expensive, but holy shit.

Also these tires are absolutely ducking uuuge

Rear axle is under. Perches are welded on, shock mounts are only tacked as of now. Need to pull the axle back out anyway to do the gears and bumps anyway. So I will weld the shock mounts in then.

Had time yesterday to start this too. New core support stuff. Hood latch and rad are mounted. Waiting for a little bracket on the side of the condenser so I can get that mounted up solid too. Then the trans cooler and fan can go back on. Also need to make some tabs to support the headlight mount stuff. I’m stoked to get shock hoops in so I can get the engine cage and front bumper sorted.

This morning I changed the oil pan, and now I’m working on the firewall/ steering shaft stuff.
