    Yeah, when I first saw it I got really excited. Previous experience with Gracenote was exquisite, as that car recorded from CD to my hard drive on the car.

    Anyway...Gracenote apparently will recognize the music being fed into the head unit, via USB, bluetooth, etc. I always thought that info was fed into the head unit by the piece of equipment sending the music...guess not. So, all that cover art and artist info is all thanks to Gracenote.

    I don't doubt you, but hard to believe there's a near infinite amount of music data stored on board? Unless maybe it's pulling it from satellite?

    So, verdict is in. The aftermarket alarm they installed shorted out, causing the random unlocks and lights flashing. As for the bluetooth issue, she said I have the latest update. No TSB info, sorry.
