I see issues that are happening with every ethnicity and age group behind the wheel, with continual deterioration of the basics. It has been a hoot watching folks try to adapt to the simplicity of some new roundabouts. It magnifies the difficulty that peeps have with merging smoothly.

There’s a roundabout I need to take when test driving commercial vehicles. It’s complete anarchy.

I suppose it depends what you call anarchy. But, these roundabouts are the opposite. Peeps stopping at yield signs harder than I have ever seen at stop signs. Peeps stopping IN THE Roundabout to let folks in. Peeps humping the center to go straight while the area is packed. Peeps stopping on the opposite side when another peep enters on the far side.

I suppose that is anarchy?

Only about once a week will I come through there and have peeps mesh like gears.

Still, they cut the congestion in that area to nothing over the two coupled arterials:

Look closer. He has a metric ton of scotch tape on his 3rd light. Yeah it's not a good pic, hour b4 sunset with my phone.

    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
The 3rd brake light is just a minor inconvenience, the main issue is why is he stopping there in the first place? It’s probably because the Toyota Safety Nanny sees a obstacle in the road, a Botts’ dot, and keeps slamming on his brakes and Toyota won’t fix it because he put in a faux pro grill.
