I have a set of 883 OME springs sitting in my shop. I was wondering if anyone was running then with a Bilstein 5100. What kind of lift they are getting. I believe on the the 2nd gens they were getting 1.75 inch lift. Now with our 3.5 engine being different weight wise than the 4.0. Just wondering. Thanks

If they're 1.75" on the 2nd gen they should be 0.75" on the 3rd I believe.

Depends on the strut also, the 5100s have specific sets for 2nd gen vs 3rd gen.
A 2nd gen 5100 with that spring would likely do 0.75” of lift.
A 3rd gen 5100 with thay spring would be different. I don’t know the exact comparison so I won’t even estimate the amount of lift but I think it’s smaller

    Those aren’t even the 883X, modern 883.

    Trash them.

883s are mostly popular for 1st gen Tacomas, I don't think they'd be very useful for 3rd gens especially if you're looking for an upgrade
