2019 trd 4x4 with remote start

Just traded in my 2015 Tacoma and bought the 2019 trd 4x4. The truck comes with remote start factory installed but I didn’t ask how to do it before I left dealership. Surprisingly the owners manual says nothing about it. Anyone know what button sequence activated the remote start? Thanks for your help

 

Try pressing the lock 3 times in a row

 

I did that thinking the same thing but nothing happens. Even tried pressing three times and holding on third press with no luck

 

So how do you know it has a remote start? Just the dealers word? Maybe they laughed their asses off when you drove off the lot?

There is no factory installed remote start. That’s why it’s not mentioned in the manual.

 

I think you’re getting mixed up with push button start

 

The sticker on truck window says it’s equipped with remote start so was assuming it came from factory

 

Ok now I feel dumb but you’re right, it’s not equipped. I did misread the sticker and option listing. Sorry to waste everyone’s time!
