I am a shoreline fisherman. (Ulua)....Most of our style of fishing is Slide baiting for Ulua's ..Google Ulua...
    Under 10 lbs inHawaiian.word for this fish called Papio....over 10lbs..call Ulua..can reach over190 lbs!

Most of our fishing spots can only be reach with a4x4...traveling on Lava roads...

    Just got a 2019 Trd-off...long bed..waiting for leer camper..
Later a lift..3inch.tires.uca..rock sliders and gas tank skid plate....

    Any suggestions?
    Aloha

Get a transfer case skid and a portable air compressor if you don’t already have one. So you can air down your tires, helps a lot on a’a

Air compressor is a good idea....so far airing down our tires....really wasn't needed? It usually takes us less than three hours to reach our fishing spots...from the main highway...yes there is always some really bad spots
It would be nice to protect the whole underneath!

I run mtr tires and I use to not air down when I would go down some trails with lava and my tires would get all buss. When I got new mtr’s I started airing down before I hit the trails, and it helped a lot with the tires not chunking or chipping. If your tires are fine without airing down then I guess you don’t need to. On Maui the lava would eat my tires up haha. I would recommend the t-case skid over the gas tank skid if you had to pick one.
