Probably should have done this a while ago...like when I bought my truck last October. Better late than never I guess. I have a 2018 Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 TRD Off Road in Barcelona Red. I traded my 2015 F-150 3.5 Ecoboost FX4 for it. My family and I really like the Tacoma, even though the back seat is much smaller. I got it because my Ford wouldn't fit in a standard-sized garage and I got tired of always digging my truck out after 12 to 24 inches of lake effect snow. Only mods so far are the TRD Pro skid plate, I just got the TRD Pro grill, and I'm going to order some 16x8 Method MR305 NV wheels next month. Everyone is telling me to get the all black ones, but I kinda like the bronze with the black lip.

Probably not going to lift my truck. I like how it drives now and it has plenty of ground clearance for what I want to do with it, which is mostly driving in heavy snow, light off-roading when camping and what not, and commuting to work.

Hopefully I've had all the bad luck with this truck that I'm going to have. My 17 year old son backed into a jeep with it before I made my first payment (Thanks USAA), my rear axles were apparently warped and had to be replaced under warranty, one of my fender flares is pulling away from the fender and has to be repaired under warranty, and apparently there's a recall for the radar sensor in the front grill (which I'm going to have them do before swapping the Pro grill in). Oh and I got them to reprogram the ECU software per a service bulletin which seemed to help the transmission a lot...before that it seemed like it was always hunting for a gear.

Anyways, I'll share more pics when the wheels and grill are installed, and I'll be lurking trying to learn more stuff about these trucks.20190120_115947.jpg
