    Hello everyone,

So my tacoma has been making this creaking sound, coming from the front left tire, every time it makes a full rotation. I honestly have no clue what it could be and I was hoping someone here might have a clue. Obviously the slower I go, the louder and longer the creak. The other day, i put a jack under it and tried spinning the wheel by hand but it doesn’t make a sound when it’s off the ground. Only seems to make it when it’s rolling with the truck so I’m assuming there’s nothing wrong with the wheel it self. Any help would be much appreciated

Did you get an alignment recently? My truck had the same symptoms after my alignment.

When it was unloaded did you try grabbing the tire and shaking it in/out ?

    Have you examined your brakes?

No alignment recently done. No major work has been done to it, it just randomly started making the sound. I did examine my brakes, they looked okay but I ended up replacing the pads and rotors. It actually stopped making the sound for about two days and it came right back after. I shook the tire, messed with it a bit while I had it off the ground but no noise came up. I only hear it with the trucks weight on it

Yes, I’ll check the bearings carefully. I should’ve probably mentioned this earlier but the creak seems to get louder when I first press the brakes, and as soon as I start letting off of the brakes. Maybe that’ll help a little.?
