My dealer forgot to get my $1000.00 down payment from me.... I returned like a good guy, and paid it.... It was a bit odd returning to the dealer and telling them they forgot to get their money from me....

Not sure what will happen, in ND the DMV will charge it in the licensing process. The government always gets it's due. I have purchased out of state and the dealerships hand over the MSO so they don't handle other states bs unless it's a boarder city and give a small discount on paperwork processing. That is taken in to the DMV here they do the figuring. But that's when you want the paperwork correct they have no sense of humor.

Normal circumstances....ok, they made a mistake. Go in and pay it, fix the issues. People make mistakes.

But if this douche canoe was being a total asshole? Lol lol sorry, but that dealership can eat a dick.

His attitude probably changed when you didn’t buy the expended warranty. That’s money in the dealerships pocket.

It’s been over a month since OP has posted. Doubt anyone will ever hear from him again...

Since this thread lacks a celebratory post from the OP, I'm guessing he paid his taxes. lol

I would just pay the tax I owed and move on. It’s probably illegal for OP not to have paid sales tax on the truck.
