Is it just me or does anyone else wish we were able to get more info in these tabs? Personally would like to see: oil pressure, Oil temp and trans temp.

Have mine set to digital speedo, tank average, current fuel economy and trip time but really wish there was more info!

Toyota says you’re on a need-to-know, and you don’t need to know those things.

Speaking from experience in the mechanics field, the more info you give a consumer, the more problems that consumer will have.
Think about how many people get worked up if their MPG is not close to what the sticker says. Now, imagine if a person had available to them oil temps, pressure, trans temps, etc. If those numbers got even close to out of range there would be so many complaints and questions that were unnecessary.

That being said, I run Torque Pro on a galaxy tab and can monitor some of that info.

Yep. Just like daddy-o said, less is more. Most consumers do not know how to use the info you are seeking. It wasn't too many years ago that vehicles had volt meters, amp meters, trans temp guages... The manufacturers don't offer these anymore (for the most part).

I agree with you all saying less is more to the consumer but wish there was at least the option :p

You know... it would have made sense if they put it in the pro. Actual running values. Instead the pro got creature comforts.

We updated our fleet with telemetry and tpms that reads tire temps. Since then, we have had a massive spike in overheating tires. Yet on our end, the recordings are in the normal range.

In the right hands, this is a great thing. Unfortunately, and after witnessing most 3rd gen threads, these are not the hands you want information in.
