When i had it apart for the led color swap i put it in there. I got it at Cabela's. It is a tumbler decal, but fit perfect to cover the kmh.

Changed my oil, replaced the spark plugs, and cleaned the MAF/TB. Front brakes come in later this week.

Added the ARB RTT and got a few good nights of sleep this weekend on Lopez Island. Need to either lower the front end an 1” or raise the rear somehow. Getting some reverse rake action going on...

Relocated the trailer plug today. Sawed off one of the ears and used Silicone to seal it and make up the gap.9EB63C42-ED41-4146-BAA2-ED71450C11C6.jpg

The same shit everyone else has.
Gave it a quick wash after yesterdays adventure.

Someone asked me about the Mother's CMX coating the other day. Here it is in action. First coat dry, let sit a week, second coat as a drying aid after a wash, then last coat dry after washing/drying it. 3 coats, cured 48 hours before this video.

Im 100% sold on the stuff. For under 25$, its well worth the cost and time.

Rotated tires too. Took the time to scrub the wheels and tires. Ceramic coated the insides and outsides of the wheels. And coated the tires in Optibond.

Finally finished installing my KC Highlites behind the AEG grill. Wired them up to a AOB switch.... now I just need to aim them. Painted the grill surround with SEM Trim Black like the lower valance. Think I may change it to a color match with Black 202.

Took it out wheeling yesterday, attempted and made it up this climb for the first time:

Same climb from a different angle:
    20190623_134633.jpg

Then I brought it home and washed it all up, no wax or anything this time around, just needed to get all the mud off:

Like many of you that have a Bakflip MX4, mine was was leaking. It's only a few months old, so I though I would make one strong attempt at fixing it, and then live with the results whatever they may be. Well, I made the changes on Saturday, and it absolutely poured rain while I was driving on Sunday, and it was DRY! No guarantees here, but thought I would pass this on because it worked well for me. If you try it, good luck!

    1. You can see the underside of the rail and how the factory seal had come unglued and move off a straight line. Same thing happened on the other side. You can almost tell it's very thin rubber that doesn't really collapse down very well.
    IMG_2719.jpg

    2. After looking at a lot of options, I went with this weatherstrip from Home Depot as a replacement for both rails.
    IMG_2721.jpg

    IMG_2724.jpg

    3. Even caulked the small seam on the top of the rail.
    InkedIMG_2739_LI.jpg

    4. Even the drain plug alignment was offset on both sides. The drain is approx an inch in diameter and being offset it was only able to accept about 1/3 of the volume it was designed to manage.
    IMG_2726.jpg

    5. Drilled both sides to open it up.
    IMG_2733.jpg

    6. I also put an inch or so of the new weatherstrip at the top left and right corners where the rails meet the bed.

    7. Lastly, I installed the following on my tailgate.
