The SR plastic steering wheel/shifter & utility pack access cab area is nothing less than utilitarian bliss.

Cleaned a load of dog hair out of my pickup today. Was easy peasy. Not hard to detail the 3rd gen at all imo.

 

The usual 'carpet', but a husky rear liner takes care of that nicely.

 

Wish I could have gotten the "work truck" package vinyl flooring in my 2018 Tacoma Sport.
Have it in my 2019 Tundra & it is SWEET. No carpet bullshit.

 

Im half tempted to pull the carpet and lay some vinyl some days after work...

Track in hella mud when it is wet out...

Or it was a humblebrag about how he pulled a lot lizard. Either way, there’s a limited amount of materials you can make an interior out of on a production truck. The thought of any material outside of plastic is terrible. Aluminum? Wood? Bakelite? Fiberglass? Velvet? The Plastic is great IMO.
