I play each day just to get a free car. A buddy of mine and I play and we use the same car and same setup so it will be skill vs skill. As far as multiplayer goes... that is a small part of the game. Yes, you can play against others but it is not required. I've ran quite a few races online and it encourages you to play conservatively if you don't want to mess up your ranking. My favorite track has always been the Nurburgring. I've run that track since Project Gotham Racing II on the original Xbox.

FWIW... I race with a controller. I'm sure a wheel and pedals are nice but I've raced so long with a controller that it just feels right.

This is the run that got me to 16th in the world racing the BMW going for Gold. I've no idea where I stand now since I haven't played it as much as I used too.

By far my favorite car in the game. The 911 RSR

My buddy and I racing against each other. It's nice knowing that someone isn't going to intentionally ram you off the track. (I'm in the Gulf that I painted)

And if you want to race online... It looks like this.

I see you race in all different views, is there a reason for that? I prefer the view of the whole car, because with controller you can't really feel how the rear end is acting so I like to see it.

I race with the bumper cam (I guess that's what you call it?) if I'm racing online. If I'm just running a track in time trial or for gold I'll run it in cockpit view or the bumper cam. I can not race where I see the car. I completely suck at it and it takes some of the realism out of the game for me.

This was the view that I had from the earlier race with my buddy. I much prefer this view over anything but if you are competing then I have to run the bumper cam.

I get that, it's definitely realistic in the cockpit view. The bumper view makes me sick lol. If I had a steering wheel/pedals I would most definitely drive in the cockpit view.
