I did a quick search and couldn't find anything...

Has anyone run power to behind the rear folding seats?

I'd like to lose all the loose wires in the cab and set up a charging station behind the drivers side rear seat. It'd be great to have all the gadgets back there, out of sight from thieves while also keeping the cab a bit cleaner.

Has anyone done anything similar or has a suggestion on the best approach? I'm somewhat handy but hesitant to mess with anything electrical :D

I would imagine you just route wires through the lower door seal. Like you would running a sub? From the center console and dash.

Find a circuit in your Taco doesn't use. (Seat Heater, Sliding Roof, etc) Use an-add-fuse/circuit. Run wire alongside the wire bundle to the rear of the Taco on Driver's side and up to rear of cab.

It does indeed. Just keep removing all the plastic parts, even the driver and passenger seat belt vertical pieces. You’ll make it to the storage area.

I think he means run the wire under the sill plate / cover, not the door seal.

Sorry, thought it would have been known that was what I was talking about. I should have verbally clarified it better. Not me so words good sometimes.

I will be shortly. Running power for a fridge and other stuff in the rear once my goose gear seat delete comes in

Depending on how much stuff you are putting back there would make a difference in how you do it based on your power needs. You can easily tap off something if it’s only a couple usb devices or get some long cables, if you are adding more stuff, I’d just pull a cable and put a fuse box and branch off that.

Parts underlined are the ones you'll need to remove to follow the vehicle's harness. If you're Taco doesn't have a separate amplifier, then you could be in luck and already be wired almost all the way and you could use that circuit. Save some $$$

Thanks for the info everyone, sorry for not seeing it earlier, I didn't get the notifications.

I think a USB hub would suffice (assuming that it has enough power to charge things fairly fast).
