Getting geared up for a coolant drain and refill. This will be the first time that I have performed this task. I have not done one of these in a long time. My '08 PreRunner has 130,000 mi. I usually try to buy OEM at the best possible price.
I can buy the Toyota upper and lower hoses for ~$16.50 each. I know aftermarket parts can be less expensive.

What aftermarket brand of radiator hose seems to be most favored?

My original hoses still look good, but ...........

Gates is a large supplier to most OEMs. Toyota doesn't make belts and hoses or even many other parts for that matter. Back when I worked in the repair business, we used Gates on just about everything.

OEM parts are great, but for hoses, any major name brand will also be high quality: goodyear, gates, continental, etc. The materials and construction/design are dialed in pretty good nowadays. The important part is that hoses get replaced when signs of damage or aging show up... and this requires regular inspection. Good to see you are on top of maintenance.
