Brand New Tacoma owner here: looking for any tips on dust removal on exterior of the car. Also any advice on what products to buy to minimize it?

I would just use detailed spray to remove them but it creates swirls marks. I’m not too crazy about the swirls so I do it time to time. There’s really nothing you can buy to my knowledge to avoid having dust, especially pollen in spring. I would wax it though to make it really easy to wash and dry off. I use spray wax on my truck weekly as it comes off after 1-2 washes, and I’ll use compound every now and then. I have used a sealant and it does work and help as well. It doesn’t give it a glossy wet look, but it does make the paint somewhat slick and lasts longer than a wax coating does.

A lot of of it depends on what towel you’re using as well. I use Walmart’s cheap microfiber towels that come in a pack of 4 for like $3.

Not sure how to minimize it but I use Adams Polish products, they have great video's for all their products. Try the Adams detailer spray the way they show to use is, great results and I don't scratch up the car like I did with my California duster.

    Products to minimize dust?
Dome tent with a Hepa filter air system.
    Paint the truck silver.

    Remove dust...
leaf blower, air compressor, detailing blower...
    car wash...

While your truck is all new and shiny and to make it easier to keep it that way,
look into Ceramic coating, doing it yourself will cost about $300+ in equipment and supplies.
Getting a detailer to do it will cost about $700-1500+.
Ceramic coatings puts regular waxes and sealants to shame.

    OR

Decide that it is a truck,
and that you are going to not worry about it,
and are going to take it off road and be stress free about it...
Then find the biggest set of bushes you can,
And drive right through them! Admire the new trail art on your even more manly truck,
Park where you want and never worry about scratches and door dings again!

I don't plan on ever taking my truck off-roading. Just want to take care of it the best I can.
