I recently purchased a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 3.4 4x4 with the A340f automatic transmission. I’ve loved the truck so far, but I did notice when driving the truck easy it shift into all gears perfectly, however when I’m on the throttle past 2k rpm the 2-3rd gear shift if a little hard, when on the throttle all the other gears shift fine and you can barely feel them, but the 2-3 almost feels like there’s a shift kit installed which there isnt. I do believe 3rd gear is a 1.0 ratio so maybe it’s just everything completely aligning, but hell I don’t know? I’ve read on some forms that other people have had this problem too and have experienced it since having the truck new. Does anyone else experience this?
