    Yeah man. I laughed I cried and I almost threw my phone across the room when I got to the zombie krugerrand.

    I’d like to take this opportunity to point out that 9 out of 10 TW members have nice countertops. I need a stone countertop. I’m the one guy who still has a tile countertop.

    Lol, it came with the house, one of the few pluses of buying from a flipper. I've done a bathroom counter by myself, and I'm damn lucky that I didn't crack that heavy bastard in half when installing. The downside is that I didn't get to pick the stone, the flipper with weird taste did.

    My previous house had cheap wood veneer countertops with the same color cabinets underneath. No matter how I painted and decorated that kitchen, it still looked like shit. :rofl:

    Mine are butcher block... it looks decent but is easy as shit to scratch.

    On a side note, previous owners did back splash subway. Only problem is they didn’t tile to the outlets and instead tiled AND grouted around the face plates. Still putting off breaking out the oscillator and fixing it. Love DIY but absolutely hate bad DIY. Know your limits people!
