hey so what is the purpose of those square shaped head lights people have on their hoods? Are they for fog?

Usually using for night driving offroad. They are not street legal lights.

Rigid are very good lights but expensive. I got mine from Rough Country. Have had them a year no issues. Very bright and good light spread. 3 Year warranty.

Rigid Industries makes some really solid LED pods, bars, etc. I'd check them out and branch from there. There are a lottt of cheaply made lights, which are something you want to do right the first time around. Heise is a good brand as well. Are you looking for just those tiny lights to fit in the Hood Scoop? Or the Pods (ditch lights) that are mounted on the bottom corners of the windshield?

They are generally meant to be slightly angled out to complete the 180 degree field of view for nighttime wheelin'. Not ideal for fog.. would honestly make things worse lol
